Encouter

I use college bus to go to my work. The driver is a lady, who always seems to turn her face away whenever I enter bus.
My ‘hello’ would be returned with a cold ‘hi’.

Hmm..I kept trying saying her hello and good bye whenever I get into and out of bus..but..
Most of the times on my way back from work, only we two would be there in the bus..but still silence prevails.

Today, I decided to start a conversation with her..
Hmm…what else can I start with after ‘Thanksgiving’?
I asked how her Thanksgiving holidays were?

Wow!!!...you know what…she never stopped talking after that till I got down of the bus…

Thanks to the ‘Thanksgiving Lunch’ we had on last Thursday in an American couple’s house.

I know all the traditional dishes of Thanksgiving Stuffed Turkey, corn bread stuffing, cranberry sauce, ham, mashed potato, sweet potato dishes etc.
Atleast,I had some topic to converse with her and UNDERSTAND!!..cos of my encounter with American food.

Impressed

I asked John, One of the professors in Crop Science Department for an ‘Aloe’ Plant, when I came to know that he had Aloe plant at his home. That was on Friday.

He said he would get a plant from his house on Monday.

On Monday, when I went to work, an Aloe plant potted freshly in a plastic pot was ready. I was excited to see that nice little plant.

I admired the promptness of him. We always try to find excuses for not doing things for others. And being a professor, he remembered my silly request for a plant!!

Controversy..

Yes..Today I had an interesting experience…Really worth putting up here..

I and My co-worker discussed on religion..a very long unending one..
U know kinda discussion(?) on Christianity and Hinduism..

At one point of time, he said
IF Christianity is RIGHT, then all other religions are WRONG..

His interesting example for that

Say, 2 + 2 = 4 is RIGHT
Then, 2 + 3 = 4 is WRONG..

He says only one can be true, drawing analogy between Math and Religion(which itself defies logic though)..

Hmm..I think I gave a good retort..

I said 2 + 2 = 4
1 + 3 = 4
0 + 3 = 4

If you say, 4 is your destination, you can reach in all the above ways…

And all are RIGHT..

I perceive these different approaches to reach your destination as different religions..

Ha Ha Hasini...

Hmm...
After 'Bommarillu' Movie...everybody is talking about Hasini..
Everyone wants to have a girl friend like Hasini..

Lovely character....
innocence in eyes...
simplicity in life...

Everyone loves such character and wants to be one like that..
Just wondering about myself...
Am I innocent?.........No way
Simple???...........far away from it..

I was like that may be some years back..with innocence...bubbly...lively....non-stop chattering...
But not now anymore...
In this sojourn of life...where 'Grown-Ups' are supposed to behave in a 'Dignified' way...
I lost my 'Sweet Innocent Smile'..
Now....I am a professional(supposedly).....know what to talk and what NOT and most importantly 'When to talk?'.......

I want a time-machine to take me back a few years...
But then...time should stall.........else I will come back to this state again..:(

Pain!!!

tears start rolling out of my eyes...
sometimes unreasonably...

They say..'Time can heel anything'
Hope my Time comes fast to relieve me from this....

In the veil of punishing him...
I punish myself...BADLY...

I envisioned GOD

Yes..
Believe Me!! I am not lying...

Once Upon a time in India, there lived a saadha-seedha ladki named 'Ammulu'(Name changed on request ;) ). She had high hopes in life. Everything was going on smoothly. Then Ammulu decided to come to US for Master's. There begins the story in the "Not Her's land." Like everybody did, Ammulu thought 'US is cooooooool'....
But, slowly the inevitable encountering of pain of doing every single thing on earth on her own made her re-think. 'Why did I come here?', 'What am I achieving here?' are the foremost Q's to be answered.
Though she could not figure out exactly why did she come here..
But, she has the answer for the second Q. She achieved something..
Yes...She envisioned GOD in the form of mortal humans..

Yes....She got to know precious people who are no less than GOD.
Happy, Self-less, forgiving, kind-hearted, innocent ---blend of every adjective on this planet..

I mean every word of what I said..

Yes...I am really lucky to know such great people. US gave me some life long good memories to cherish and very good people, for whom I am ready to do anything..

I am changing...
Yes...getting to know how happy one can be by being self-less...a state of bliss...

Smoking...

Why do guys think 'Smoking is Cool'??
I always wonder, why do people wanna buy a disease as bad as cancer?

Why don't they care for the person who cares for them madly?
Why are they so Self-Centered?

Why do they lie?
After all, people tell you not to do something that harms....only when they care....

Happiness..

What's happiness?
How can we be happy always?
What makes us happy?
What makes us sad?
Hmm...
Once upon a time, I used to think that 'I am a stubborn gal'..
Not anymore..
I realized that I am very (in a way silly too) sensitive to some issues with my close-knit group..
yes..I will be hurt easily with them...as small as when they don't smile properly if I say 'hi'..
when I don't get reply to my mails even after a week..
I can see myself changing colors in my face..twisting my mouth to cover my disappointment....

Yes...It hurts...
It hurts because you love them so much and you care for them...

Excited about the idea of creating a blog for myself...
Wow....let me try my talent of expression...(a bit weak though ;)
